Boxing Shoes _ For Maximum Safety

Boxing shoes are must for anyone who is playing the game whether for recreation or professionally. The boxer just cannot do without it. The boxing shoes are very similar to running shoes. The boxing shoes do not have any support on the bottom of the foot. The material of the boxing shoes if lightweight and it makes the movement easy and the boxer can move quickly in the boxing ring. There are non-slip soles on these shoes that make the boxer to have a firm grip on the floor of the boxing ring. They come in various sizes and colors and some have low tops while others have high tops with laces up to the shin.

Mostly these boxing shoes are made of leather or suede. The low top shoes have height up to the ankle. They are quite similar to the running shoes, but the only difference is that they come with leather straps that offer support to the lateral arches of the feet. Due to this reason the feet are safe. The sole of the shoe is generally made of rubber with grid or non-slip pattern on the bottom so that the boxer doesn’t slip while boxing. The non-slip patterns have sharp cuts and strong footholds.

Hunting Safety

Hunting injuries are on the rise this year. The economic downturn has led to more outdoors-men and women in search of inexpensive food and entertainment sources. Many of these hunters are skimping on important safety gear, including sturdy tree stands and brightly colored safety vests. This has led to an increase in both accident shooting deaths, as well as debilitating injuries often incurred from falling from tree stands. It is an unfortunate irony that many of these hunters are simply seeking out cheap meat to help their family through a trying economic time, only to find themselves severely injured and unable to work. It is vitally important that hunters actively protect themselves, other hunters and their families from potential tragedy.

  • Store your (unloaded) firearm in a high quality, locked gun cabinet. Keep the key in a secret place, where children and burglars cannot find it.
  • Every time you retrieve or store your gun, make sure you unload it. This should be the first thing you think of whenever you retrieve or store your firearm. You should always keep your firearm in your control, but also operate under the assumption that someone else may have loaded the gun.
  • Always keep your firearm and hunting equipment in good condition. Clean and oil your gun after use and every so often while it is in storage.
  • Always keep your firearm securely stored in a high quality case when transporting it. Do not load the firearm until you are actually hunting.

False Sense Of Security

Working my usual weekend gig as a bouncer in a night club an attractive blond approaches me and asks if I can walk her though the club because 15 minutes before a male grabbed her arm a told her that she had to dance with him. She refused and pulled away; the male grabbed her harder then pulling her to the dance floor, lucky for her another bouncer spotted this and took care of her problem. I decide to give her my business card TACT SELF DEFENSE it reads, she tells me that she as a brown belt in the martial arts but everything she’s learned, she couldn’t remember and just blanked out. I tell her that this is normal, it is the effects of adrenaline.  Most self defense programs do not think about these effects when training some one that is why 95% of self defense programs do not work and will get you hurt or killed. I proceed to tell her most of my clients are martial artists or had some type of self-defense training in the past, she nods in agreement, understanding what I mean. The next day she gives me a call for self-defense training.
